Empower Youth Live The Dream Services is a grass root organization founded to make every dream count and to counter every dream killer in the lives of our youth. Dreams like self-esteem, resilience, confidence, being focused, graduating from school or trade, avoiding life distraction, pursuing desired sports or arts of choice, becoming other youth mentors etc. To promote the total well-being of our youth and empower them to realize that there is nothing like an overwhelming dream in size or nature.
The vision
Every youth has a unique dream whether it relates to academics, career, sports, arts or social life and they can achieve them with proper support. Social construct has a way of framing success in linear and one size fits all syndromes, however, EYLTDS believe that no youth should lose out no matter whatever the challenge may be.
Internalized oppression, intergenerational trauma experience or lack of motivation can lead to dream suppress or silence.
There is inherent strength and resilience in youth that can be harnessed to optimize the result in dream outcomes.
It took the EYLTDS founder 25 years to achieve University degree instead of 4 years due to lack of proper advice and mentorship hence he has determined not to see any other youth have the same experience. EYLTDS will go above and beyond to galvanize every resource whether intellectual, human or material to support every youth realize their desired dream or goal.

MISSION
In our community that is predominately low-income, immigrants, single mothers, and precarious workers EYLTDS is committed to support youth from North York and its environs who may be having challenges to figure out or carry out their dreams.
These difficulties may stem from lack of social support, system failure, and or insufficient safety-net.
Examples of issues could be lack of clarity with dreams or goals, mental health coping mechanisms, climate change and environmental worries. Others may include poverty related stress, Schoolwork overload anxiety, housing to mention a few. EYLTDS will work with the youth to achieve their desired dreams using the 3 points strategy identified with the acronym IDA. Which refers to I as identifying D as developing while A as for achieving. Every youth will get one on one attention to analyze specific situation while we will draw a solid plan to and road-map to achieve it.
To get to the specific of each youth’s unique need EYLTDS will break down the process more by introducing a 3 WWW’S (Walk, Watch and Win). At this stage the youth may be assigned staff to facilitate this process, once a youth gets to the last “W” win, celebration will follow.
